This one-story church and tower was constructed of concrete tilt up
panels and glulam beam trusses and purlins. The unique structural
aspects of the building are the 48 feet tall tower wall panels, and the
glulam beam trusses, spanning 62 feet at
the main roof, comprised of Alaskan
Yellow Cedar.
Construction began in November 2000 and
was completed sixteen months later in March 2002. This work received the
Excellence in Structural Engineering Award for 2002. |
