This two- and four-story office complex consists of structural
steel and cast in place concrete (fill) floor construction. The lateral
load resisting system of this structure incorporates special moment
resisting frames, designed to the latest FEMA 350 guidelines. Compatible
with the structural framing system, a full height Vierendeel Truss
System was designed around the exterior perimeter of the four-story
portion of the building to provide anti-terrorism, progressive collapse
resistance.
